We are Marshall

What a nice weekend. It rained yesterday for a few hours, but other than that it was a nice day. Griffer and I went and saw the movie We are Marshall. This was a great movie. It's about a football team who dies in a plane crash and the school has to rebuild the whole football program. This movie is based on a true story. It is very inspirational!!! You have to go see it!!!

Christmas 2006

What a great day. Santa was good to Benjamin this year. He received lots of games (wack-a-mole, chutes and ladders, elefun, etc). He also received several monster trucks and playdoe stuff. He received several cool toys from family members (racetrack, blocks, a Thomas train, and an Oregon State jogging outfit). Thank you to everyone. We all slept in..Benjamin woke up at 8a.m. We could not believe it. We then opened presents and had breakfast. See Food for thought. We then assemble several toys and played all day. We ate an early dinner (turkey, gravy, sweet potatoes). Like I said, It was a great day.

Benjamin Visits with Santa

Benjamin got to visit Santa Claus at the mall. He was so excited to tell Santa that he has been a good boy and that he wanted a monster truck for Christmas.

The Pant's

Benjamin got up this morning and got dressed for school. This was not your typical morning because today was his Christmas program for school. He was wearing his church clothes...which was a white turtleneck, black pants, black socks, and black shoes. After getting dressed he walks over to daddy and says so proudly "I have pants on just like you daddy",as he twirls around. He was so excited. Today they have their pogram, they get to exchange gifts, and have a pizza party. I will post the program later today or sometime this weekend.

Putting up the Christmas Tree

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Benjamin has learned many Christmas songs. His favorite songs are Frosty the Snow Man and Jingle bells. He is learning them at school and has become quite proficent.

Thanksgiving Feast - First Baptist Church CDC

Benjamin enjoyed singing with his classmate this past Friday. They sang a few songs and then enjoyed a Thanksgiving lunch...turkey,mashed potatoes, green beans, bread, and lots of other side dishes and desserts...YUMMY. Grandma and Daddy got to come and see him perform. It was cute.

Christmas already

Today was a very eventful day. We got all of the Christmas stuff down from the attic and put all of the outdoor Christmas stuff out. I know, I know, it is a little early for Christmas, but it was nice out and we just wanted to get it done. We also cleaned the house and went grocery shopping. We got a lot accomplished and still had an enjoyable day.

The Pumpkin Patch

Benjamin got to go to Tate Farms pumpkin patch with his school, First Baptist Church Development Center. He had a blast. They had many things to do like a corn crib (see below), hay maze, corn maze, john deere tractor bikes, hay ride, and a neat playground. They even got to do an arts and crafts project. I was very impressed.
